What is T.H.U.G?

Does the name personify the band? To be honest on some levels it is a definitive YES. But look a little deeper and T.H.U.G is very much a product of their own environment. but essentially, we are purely just a Sydney-based Aussie rock band.

All the guys in the band have had a close connection to the Punk, Sharpie and the Rock 'n' Roll movement in Australia and overseas for the past 30 years or so. The band's repertoire includes powerhouse guitars and pounding rhythms, right through to street Punk inspired vocals.

T.H.U.G's lyrics touch on everything from the life and death of close friends, murder, and jail, to the reality of the darker side of the streets. Let us remind you that this band is playing from the heart and pulls no punches. This is no fake attempt at street credibility. With this band, what you see is what you get.

In the live shows and recordings you get a real feel of Australian pub rock in which Australia has a long and distinguished history. With a band like T.H.U.G playing at a pub near you, Rock 'n' Roll will STILL be king.
